The Beneath

The Beneath is a colossal network of caverns far below the Golden Wastes.

Once only a myth, The Beneath became real during the First Great Pulse.

Its depths lie closer to the world’s core, where Zohm originates. This makes Zohm far more abundant than on the surface. Channelling it is easier, and objects often possess greater power.

Supernatural

The abundance of Zohm makes the Beneath extremely dangerous. Strange effects, altered creatures and unstable regions are common.

The Beneath is divided into many layers and sub-layers, each with its own environments, hazards and paths deeper underground.
